Cat lover with extensive knowledge of feline care

I love cats! I currently have a role within a large cat welfare charity where I ensure welfare standards are met across a large geographic area. Prior to this role I was a frontline RSPCA officer for 6 years. Overall, I've worked with animals for over 17 years, which has given me wide ranging experience and understanding of animals. I offer a professional, safe and friendly cat-sitting service to you and your pets!

As well as holding a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, I have undertaken, and successfully passed, additional cat and animal training courses. I keep my knowledge up to date with the latest developments in behaviour and welfare of animals.

All this has set me in good stead for fostering many cats and kittens of all ages, breeds and special needs! Many of which were shy rescue animals and often needed extra time or love to trust again. All went on to be successfully rehabilitated and find their forever homes!

I know that each cat is different, has its own personality, and I love getting to know all of them! I always give the time, space and patience needed to get used to me and come round at their own pace.

I aim to provide the same level of care that you would for your beloved feline friend. And want any animals in my care to be as comfortable, relaxed and happy as possible and i would deliver that by:

• offering playtime
• ensuring plenty of fuss for those who like it
• being around to let them in or out
• grooming with attention to detail as and when required (and allowed by your cat)
• following any dietary requirements, however strict (and, conversely sneaking a Dreamy if allowed!)

I appreciate leaving your beloved pet in the care of someone else can be worrying, so I am more than happy to send as many updates with photos, as you wish whilst you are away.

I am also experienced with other species should you have any other furry, feathered or scaled friends that need some care too!
