Hi, I’m Rachel,

Thanks for looking at my profile. Hopefully you will find out a little more about me and my love for cats but let me know if you need any more info!

I’ve grown up with cats and my parents have 3. During the day I work as an Executive Assistant, I’m friendly, organised, professional and can often work from home so can bring my laptop and spend a bit more time on my visits if you’re away for a long time!

On my drop-in visits I can do the usual feeding, litter box changes and any grooming if needed but will also spend time to cuddle your cat and give them lots of attention. I'm also very happy to help with watering plants, taking parcels etc.

I will send you daily photos and videos so you can be reassured your fur babies are well looked after and you can have some time to relax.

Happy to answer any questions you have over message or have an initial call too. I will always meet with you before the first visit!

There’s something therapeutic about giving cats all the strokes and playing with them. I find it relaxing and definitely is a feel good when you’ve got a purring cat next to you. I will look after your cat with care and respect your instructions. Happy to groom, clean up after them and give them some company whilst they miss their owner! Plus I’d be sure to send you lots of photos and video updates of your cats whilst you’re away :)

    I needed to engage the services of Cat in a Flat to look after my cat Max while I was away for a few days. I was lucky to be allocated a local cat sitter who looked after Max very well. I was sent regular photos of Max, and returned home to find a happy cat and my property treated with respect. I will definitely use Cat in a Flat again.

    Rachel is amazing. Not only did she come and visit Miski at short notice but she spent time working here so Miski had company (my biggest angst when I'm away). I was SO grateful and Miski had a lovely time, thank you Rachel!!

    I could not have asked for a better cat sitter! Rachel was intuitive and sensitive to both my cats needs. She provided conscientious care for the cats and I felt she was best placed to look after their welfare.

    I had no doubt in trusting Rachel to provide a healthy and safe environment for my cats who are both very different.

    She was always on time, read through their notes and asked questions in relation to the different cats.

    She ensured that she knew how the door worked and even allowed for a video call during the task, while sending lovely photos which were very re assuring.

    The cats took to her straight away and the relief of knowing I can re-book Rachel for future sits is very comforting. Highly recommended - 10 stars
