Hello! I am a single parent and currently out of work due to the pandemic. Aspiring cat lady.

I was working for a refugee and migrant charity that specialised in immigration law but lost my job in 2020.

I am currently working on a business idea, which will be selling my own hand crafted items.

In the past I've had dogs, rabbits, hamsters, though as of yet I haven't had the honor of taking care of my own cat.

Being a parent to a 4 year old, however, has my antennae sharply tuned to tending to the needs of a little one! So I feel confident in my ability to take care of a cat.

Cats never fail to cheer me up, I feel a spiritual resonance with them and I often find them making their way over to me either in the street, or at others peoples homes.

I love pusheen (cartoon kawaii cat) and could quite easily find myself with cat themed everything if I had disposable income... :)

I respect a cats need for independence, and can quickly get a sense for their needs and wants.

I can provide a comforting presence, expert mother (ie, feeding, watering, checking to make sure they have used the bathroom).

I'm also up for playing and fussing, and if they want to lie on me while I read a book that's fine too :)
