Purrfect Cat Sitter approved by 5+ cats

Hi!

Being a cat owner in London myself, I decided to also be a cat sitter and help you out during your holidays/vacations/long weekends by showering your darling kitties with love and affection if you’ll let me :)

I’ve been the proud owner/staff of five cats (plus a few strays, and the cat sitter of my grandparents’ two cats) since 1997 so I’m reasonably well versed in meow-mese and the most various feline quirks and habits.

Short examples using my own cats as experience (and totally using the chance to just gush about my brothers and sisters with fur):

My first cat was a Queen of the Castle type Prussian Blue called Nininha. She was super independent half her life despite my attempts at befriending her, then mellowed out as I softened her ice-cold kitten heart. She was a darling needy ol’ lady during the last of her 19 years, 80% of which she basically spent on my lap and/or grumbling because I needed to change positions.

Second lovely cat was a huge black purring furball called Gil made of pure love and zen. Was my mom’s favourite, but loved to compete with my older cat for my lap and I even taught him to play fetch with a ball.

Third kitty is a gorgeous tortoiseshell little princess called Mel. She’s 5 years old, spends as much time as possible on my 5-star rated lap during winter because she’s cold all the time. Side-note: she hates everyone else’s lap with a passion. Even if I now visit my parents from abroad seldomly, she always greets me with a headbutt and always allows me to pick her up.

Fourth kitty cat is called Cookie and he’s the definition of an hyperactive cat. He takes 5 minute naps, then just runs off to ruin anything he finds in his way. Secret to keep my parents’ house intact is to tire him out with- well, anything. Best thing is a laser pointer though, hands down. Other than being a terrorist, he’s a super sweet cat and very vocal, I often have long talks with him, believe it or not!

I am also currently the owner of a sweet 4 year old tuxedo moggie named Elvis Purrsley. Like all my previous cats, he's a rescue and an absolute love ball, all he wants is to headbutt me or curl up in my lap and he's virtually attached to my hip.

I’m 34 and a research scientist, which means I’ve a flexible schedule.

I’ll ask you about your cat(s)’s habits and how you usually interact to try and emulate their familiar daily routine (this includes playing, brushing, their likes and dislikes, if they have a thing for drinking from the tap like my cats do…).

Will feed your cat(s) once or twice a day depending on what schedule you prefer. If on a diet, no amount of kitty crying will make me bend, I assure you (Gil was a big cat solely due to my weak-willed mom). Will give them treats only approved by you.

Will clean sandbox as often as you do, just let me know your cat(s)’s preferences.

I’m at my happiest petting a cat for as long as they let me, so expect a lot of photos with ear-scritches.

Also super happy if your cat(s) want to curl up on my lap.

I’ll happily rough house with your cat(s) if they indulge me, I’m 100% unafraid of getting scratched (been there, done that, haha).

Don’t mind giving meds if your cat has not learned to spit them out (my Gil did and this was always a 3-person job).
