My name is Gaby.

I love all animals and have had various dogs and cats all my life. My cat, Vivis, sadly passed away in 2021. But she was with me for 18 years! and lived a wonderful life :) I also had two dogs, a cocker spaniel and a french poodle.

I started doing pet sitting in Glasgow (2013). It all began with a lovely rescued dog called Zac, and I carried on with cats. Beryl, Bert and Bowie are some of the lucky cats I have cuddled with :)

I have looked after pets for more than 2 weeks - including housesitting where I looked after a house refurbishment, received parcels, looked after the garden, etc.

I'm very responsible person, super tidy and clean, and can provide references if you need them.

I have experience looking after elderly cats and dogs or those with mobility issues, and also mischievous kittens (I've had to deal with frogs in the bathroom! a gift from one of the cats I looked after in east London).

I constantly check the whereabouts of the dog or cat I'm looking after, I like to know where they are and what are they doing. I also take photos of them and send them to the owners.

I always ask for any special requirements pets may have such as walking them with the leash only, eating habits or closing the cat flap at night.

Some people write instructions for me, but if they don't do it, I always make notes of whatever owners mention so I don't forget.

I'm more than happy to cuddle with your cat (or cats). If staying overnight, your cat can sleep with me if he/she are used to that.

I normally clean the littler tray daily to avoid a bad smell in the house. I also change the pet's water twice a day and can follow a specific meal routine if you have one for your furry friend.

It really depends on your cat but I'm always more than happy to play and cuddle with them, however, I also understand the ones that keep to themselves. The cats I have looked after have been a mix of playful, mischievous and quiet ones! so I'm up to any other challenge.

Pictures or videos of your pets can be sent to you daily without any problem! maybe even do a video call if you want to :)
