Cat Girl Next Door

Hi:)

My name is Maddalena and I'm originally from Italy, I moved to London a couple of years ago to study and now I work part time as a dance teacher and as a translator. For this reason I have a very flexible schedule with a bit more free time and that led me to Cat in a Flat. I have three beautiful cats back in Italy called Blake, Sibilla, and Nikita (you can see them in my profile picture) and I miss them so much! I have lived with cats and kittens since I was little and I'm so used to their presence that to me a house without a cat doesn't feel like a home. At the moment I live in a small flat in east London and my flatmates and I are fostering a little rescue named Patty, but unfortunately due to the size of our flat and the degree of unpredictability of our lives we can't commit to adopt one long term. That's another reason why I'm interested in cat sitting in my area through this platform:)

As I mentioned before, I have been living with cats my whole life and I usually get along with them even if they are of the shy type. I love petting and cuddling them as well as giving them the occasional treat just to get some extra purrs:) I used to play with my cats a lot when they were kittens too so if they are playful I don't mind messing around with them to keep them entertained! I also enjoy just sharing a space with them, reading a book or doing something while they are doing their own thing. I have administered medication before so I wouldn't mind doing that, however I'm not comfortable with doing injections as I have never done that before!
