Rachaels furry friends

Highly recommend! Managed to coax our shy cats out in a matter of days, which is unusual for them! Morning and evening visits, gave them attention, treats, and food, and took care of the litter trays. She also fed our fish, which was an added bonus!

Thank you Rachael for once again taking great care of the cats - great communication and they were very happy with you.

Rachael does a wonderful job at cat sitting. She sends regular pictures and videos so that we know our cat is happy. In fact, I think our cat is happier to see Rachael than us! She loves her. Rachael is great with communication too and was willing to help us out with getting some more litter whilst we were away, if needed. Thanks again to Rachael!

Our cat is nervous and doesn’t react well to strangers, when we put her in a cattery she was very unhappy when we picked her up so we tried a cat sitter. Although she was still scared she seemed much happier with a sitter. Rachael made sure she was eating, respected her space and everything was tidy when we got back. We would recommend Rachael.

Rachael is a lovely cat sitter who’s absolute main priority whilst we were away was making sure our cat was happy. Rachael kept us updated during her visits with lots of pictures and videos and she really helped us feel at ease whilst we were away. Our cat is usually very slow to trust people but she warmed to Rachael instantly, which was lovely!

I was instantly at ease when I met Rachael. I came home to a happy, relaxed, cat. Just what I wanted.

Rachael was great she gave us daily updates and gave our cat, Freya lots of love and cuddles. We've come home to a relaxed and happy cat, so we are very happy ☺️

Rachael took fantastic care of our two cats and our house while we were away, and the cats were very happy in her care. She left everything clean and tidy for us, and even put our bins out. Highly recommended!

Rachael looked after our two pedigree cats, who can be a bit fussy. They were very chilled and relaxed when we returned home, they had been well cared for. She also took care of chickens and did extra bits like put the bins out. We got regular pictures and updates. We were really happy with Rachael.

Rachael is a natural cat person! My two cats both loved her and she did a fab job taking good care of them! She sent me lots of pictures of them every day which was extremely comforting! Thank you Rach 🥰

Such a reassurance knowing that Rachael was looking after my 2 cats. She was very attentive and sent me photos and messages twice daily. The cats were perfectly happy when I got back. I was never concerned about them at all. Fantastic service. Thanks Rachael.

Rachael looked after our cat and it was very reassuring to know she visited her daily. Even though our cat was rather nervous and she kept her distance Rachael kept in contact with us on a daily basis. Have no problem recommending her or using her again.

Although the cats seemed happy and healthy enough on our return, we were disappointed with Rachael’s services overall. She didn’t tell us that the ceiling fan in the conservatory was completely broken, that she didn’t know how to use the litter bin even though we’d shown her on our first visit, and that the cats had been sick, probably because of the treats she gave them without our knowledge. We gave her permission to give them some cat ice cream when it was really hot, but then she also gave some milk & yogurt treats, which upset their stomachs. We would have understood had she told us; we just wanted honesty and transparency, but she preferred hiding things from us. We spent time preparing some instructions, which she obviously didn’t read. She told us during the booking that she usually catsits with her kids and that she hadn’t told us before because she was so anxious to please us, which we found odd. Since our youngest cat is nervous around strangers we told her it was best not to bring her kids, which she respected, but it always felt like she had somewhere else to be and was in too much of a hurry to really spend time with them, which I think stressed them out as they’re used to being around us all day. We told her we were flexible with the times she visited to be polite and because the cats sometimes eat at 8 or 9 in the morning, but she too often visited at odd times like 6am or noon, which can be distressing for cats, who are creatures of habit. She did take care of some flies/maggots that had invaded our food bin which we’re grateful for, but overall we felt like Rachael wasn’t someone we could trust entirely, and for that reason we won’t be hiring her again. Had it been a shorter booking it might have been fine, but not 2 weeks…

Rachael is a lovely and friendly person who went the extra mile in looking after my three girls. I am really grateful that she looked after them so well. My husband and I haven't been away from them for a week before which made us nervous but Rachael took great care of them and gave us lovely updates each day. Luna especially loves Rachael and we will definitely be booking her again

Very happy again - Rachael was able to help out with our two mogs at short notice and they were well looked after (and I appreciate the photos!)

Rachael obviously loved both cats and quickly got to know their characters, respected their space when a bit nervous and listened to their loud miaowing when less nervous. It was lovely to get updates and photos of the cats every day while away. Also appreciated extra things that I'd not specifically asked for like taking the bin out for collection and replacing the house bin and food waste bin bags on the last day. It makes a big difference to my cats being able to be looked after at home instead of going to a cattery. Definitely recommend Rachael, thank you!

Rachael was amazing. She looked after all 4 ofmy cats. She sent plenty of photos too so I could see they were all doing well. She also gave extra attention to my old boy (18 years) and made sure he was OK
