My name is Claudia, and I'm here to help look after your gorgeous fur babies. I have always loved animals and from a very young age, I have been a keen horse rider and have volunteered at stables and also Cardiff Dogs Home. I studied BSc Honours Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Plymouth University where I graduated with a 2:1 in 2018. I therefore have ample knowledge of animal welfare, behaviour & husbandry. Since graduating, I have worked at a number of boarding kennels and catteries where I gained even more experience looking after pets. I used to own a cat who sadly passed away three years ago. I had her when I was a toddler and she was a kitten so you could say we grew up together! I was devastated when she passed but she was a little old lady bless her. I loved working at the catteries and spending time with other people's cats as I got to know each one individually and it reminded me of my own cat. I currently own a rescue staffy who is my absolute baby but unfortunately he's not a fan of cats so I can't have one of my own at the moment. That being said, I understand how daunting it can be finding the right pet care for your animals. My dog suffers from separation anxiety and is very nervous of other dogs so I have to ensure I find the right care for him. So please feel free to ask any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them and I can promise you I will treat your cats with all the love and devotion as if they were my own. I'd provide your cats with a wealth of love, affection and cuddles! I love playing with cats, I find it so interesting watching their behaviour. Even the most random of objects like a pen can become a fun game! According to my dog and other cats I've looked after, I'm an excellent cuddler and treat giver so your cat will be very happy in my care. From working in the catteries, I have no problem administering oral medication to cats and I am confident handling them for putting them into cat carriers if needed. I will always put your cat's needs first and their welfare, wellbeing and happiness will be my top priority.
