Keen to impress your cats (and you!)

Hello there, I’m a professional working in the criminal justice system, who also happens to have a lifelong love and interest in cats! My husband and I are owners of five cats and I was constantly surrounded by cats throughout my childhood.

I want to help cat owners enjoy their breaks away from home by providing the best care for their cats, so those niggling doubts and worries are completely gone.

I am really good with shy and timid cats, seeming somehow to be sensitive to their needs. I appreciate the need to especially do whatever you tell me that helps them feel secure.

I have my idea of my perfect cat sitter. They listen very carefully to instructions and check to ensure they understand what is wanted. They show a genuine interest and provide reassurance whilst you are away, by sending pictures and videos. I would like to be that perfect sitter; to do exactly what you want and what your cat needs.

I have experience of looking after a diabetic cat, testing blood glucose levels and administering insulin injections twice daily. I remember how difficult it was to find someone to look after Monty. It was easier to not go away, so I am particularly keen to help you if you’re in this situation. I can give oral liquid medications and am happy giving pills, following any particular method that works for your cat.
