About Me
Cat sitter that cares
Until recently I worked in an art gallery in central London, and now I'm preparing for a career change. I will mostly be at home taking courses so I can spare some time.
Before, I studied social sciences and worked in various industries. I like to travel as well. I've always loved cats and dogs as a kid, but after experiencing the world a lot more as an adult, I think my love for them has grown even more. Cats and dogs, along with other animals are very honest creatures and if one is observant and caring enough, we can see what they like/dislike, what they need and communicate with them. But all seriousness aside, they are cute!
I adopted a cheeky but very friendly cat around two years ago. I love him to death.
I have a black cat of my own and I have needed cat sitters in the past. My cat is primarily an indoor cat that likes to venture outside a little. He is dog-like; energetic and playful so needs a sitter who can spend some time with him.
However, I have often been disappointed about the care my cat receives from cat sitters. Most times they would pop in to take out the litter, give the cat food and leave within 10 mins. This is particularly frustrating when I am paying a good amount of money for their service. Cat sitters are not cheap, and if am to pay a lot of money, I want them to provide quality service.
I promise you that I will take good care of your cat. I won't simply come in, send pics of your cat to you, faff about and leave. Unless your cat is outside taking a walk of their own, I will spend time to really be there with them plus carrying out all the essentials. Cats are social animals after all. They get lonely when their parents are out of town and I think a cat sitter's job is to alleviate that.
