About Me

Cat sitter in London

A long-term cat lover, I've been looking after my two lovely rescue cats, Gadget and Mrs P., for the past 7 years and always enjoy caring for friends' and neighbours' pets. I'm also a long-time user of catinaflat for when I go away, so I'm keen to return the love!

Wherever possible, I think it's better to look after cats in their own home while owners are away, rather than cause them the disruption of being moved to a cattery. And it means us owners don't have to spend an hour chasing our cats into their carry boxes!

I spend my days working as an events manager. My schedule varies a lot so I'm able to pop round day time or evening – whatever works best for you and your cats. I've got a bike and a car so will happily cover Croydon/South Norwood/Crystal Palace and surrounding areas.

I'm happy to feed your cats, clean out their litter, play with them and make sure they get a bit of fuss while you are away.

    Alex was great!! All we needed for our very shy cat. Is hard to find someone that understands that our cat might not come out of hiding while they are at home and that he needs his space. Alex kept us updated on how everything was going. Highly recommend!

    Alex is a briliant cat sitter! Super flexible and very helpful. His communication is on point, sending us little notes and pics of our cat. He also was unfazed, when I mentioned at 11th hour that there was something wrong with Bobby's paw - he was happy to observe and report on any issues. Since he is now a "known person" to our shy cat, they got friendly much quicker. I will definitely try to book Alex again! RECOMMENDED sincerely.

    Bobski is a very shy cat and it takes a while for him to get used to anyone, but Alex managed to befriend him in a very short time and we came back to a happy cat. We got a little note and a photo of him each day, which put our minds at ease. On top of this Alex offered to help out with some other little "chores" like watering plants, which was super helpful. Will definitely use the service again and hopefully Alex will be available in the future. Thank you!

    Alex did really well with my very nervous cat. Alex is reliable, communicated well and sent daily updates. Was lovely to come home to a happy, relaxed and cuddly cat.
