About Me
Cat Sitter (Brentwood)
Dear Reader,
My name is Dora and I am a physiotherapist and a lecturer loving to spend time with animals. Unfortunately, I can't have any pets in the accommodation I am renting, however, I am able to help animals in their homes by popping in or living in.
I always had cats in my childhood and adolescence; I also remember developing a strong bond with the stray cats in my neighborhood. I developed responsibility, care and dedication towards cats pretty soon so that our family home has become a cat shelter for maltreated or abandoned cats looking for new owners.
My special interest in cat behaviour drove me to complete a course about management of feline anxiety.
I truly believe that cats can be trained and they can learn new things. Playing is extremely important in a cat's routine, it challenges and develops the brain and has a great effect on physical health too, e.g.weight loss.
My mission is to reduce separation anxiety in cats whose owners go on holiday or other trips and offer them a calm and happy atmosphere.
Services provided: catsitting (live-in or pop-in/ as preferred) at the cat owner's home in Brentwood.
1) daily visits - litter cleaning, feeding, playing, socialising (suitable if you leave your house for a day or two, but in the meantime, you would like to ensure your cat has fresh meals and water, a clean litter and some exciting playtime)
2) overnight catsitting - litter cleaning, feeding, playing, socialising (suitable if you need some help around dinner- and breakfast time and you are not keen to leave your cat alone for the night)
3) live-in catsitting - from two days to one/two weeks (suitable if you need someone to look after your cat while away on a business trip or holidays / having a live-in cat sitter reduces separation anxiety significantly)
