Cat sitter in Crystal Palace

I am currently working in a day nursery as a Room Leader having recently stepped down from managerial roles for a potentially less stressful job I enjoy walking and I have had cats, dogs, a cockatiel, goldfish, hamsters and dogs as pets in the past. I have been a private nanny, a school matron and worked in day nurseries. I am fully qualified in childcare and have a BA Hons degree in Childcare and Education. I love all kinds of pets but currently do not have my own. I love cats and would enjoy looking after your pets and treat them with the same love as if they were my own. Also they would be in their own environment and that would be respected, I enjoy cats as they can be quite affectionate as they enjoy hugs and companionship. If you were to choose me I hope your pet would enjoy my company and I would respect them and any requests for their care. I would be willing to cook any fresh food for your cat if necessary. I am a happy person and enjoy going out and about, I enjoy cooking and travelling I have an enhanced DBS which is on the update service , I can administer basic tablet or liquid medication and I am fully first aid trained in Paediatric First Aid care I also have Food & Hygiene Level 2 certificate. My preferred area is Crystal Palace within walking distance of the main Crystal Palace triangle. I am able to cover Penge and Anerley

I am currently only available for Friday night Saturday and Sunday bookings due to my current work commitments

The amount of cancelled jobs on my profile does not reflect the reasons but I feel I need to add it is mostly because a few being out of the area I can cover or people doing random asks including an overnight stay ! and as hoc requests to groups of sitters

I am very happy to give your cats the same cuddles and affection as you would so please let me know of any specific likes and dislikes. If they like treats or not and what they prefer. If they like to be groomed I am more than happy to do that and will send you pictures of them looking beautifully groomed. I am happy to do short bookings of just one day or longer whatever your requirements are

UPDATE RE COVID 19 and PPE

For those who are still concerned about the coronavirus, I am happy to communicate via skype, zoom or WhatsApps video calls. This will enable you to walk me through your home to show me where everything such as the litter tray(s), water bowl, food supply, etc. are. We can agree on me collecting a spare set of keys using a 'no hands' approach whilst maintaining social distancing.

Alternatively, I am happy to wear a face mask and make a home visit to meet both you and your cat(s) in person. I would ensure all surfaces I have touched are cleaned before I leave after each visit Whilst preparing cat (s) bowls and food I would wear disposable gloves for this but still ensuring good practice at all times to ensure a clean environment At the same time ensuring your cat(s) are content and happy and I can have a cuddle with them to ensure they are content whilst you are away If there are any other requirements you would like to request I am sure that these could be accommodated please don’t hesitate to ask

if I was to develop covid I would immediately inform you for you to make a decision about your cat/cats care and I would inform Cat in the Flat
