About Me

Purrfect Cat Sitter

I am married and live with my 3 fur babies, who I adore. 1 bengal and two tabbies. I have had cats since I was married, which is now over 30 years. I also have two grown up children and worked in the IT industry during my career. I am now retired so have much more time to look after your lovely cats, something I have only been able to do for friends and neighbours in the past.

I am truly a slave to all my cats, who have had a variety of different needs. Myself and my husband, as a back up, often come together to ensure lots of playtime for your kitties. I am happy to brush, deal with fur balls, feed and clean litter boxes, but most importantly give them special cuddles or play time. Some of my cats have been toilet trained so if I need to flush the toilet that will also be done. I love spending time playing with my cats and teaching them tricks to gain treats. I would also happily water plants and open/close curtains if that is required. In the past I have nursed and administered medication and fluid in the form of a drip, for a cat who had kidney failure. I am also used to dealing with lots of different feeding requirements and will ensure you cat(s) are given exactly what you want while you are away. I use WhatsApp and know how important it is to see how your cat is coping while you are away so I would be happy to send photos or video call for a wee chin wag. 😊

    Janice & Freya were really kind & caring both of me (nervous!) & my cat Daisy (usually wary of strangers). They bonded with Daisy right away (she’s 16) & I felt confident leaving her in their capable hands. They kept in regular contact via photos and even a short video or two! Fabulous service! Would not hesitate to recommend!

    It was clear that my boys were very well taken care of whilst we were away! Janice came twice a day to feed, cuddle, and play with them, and also brought her adult daughter along (with my permission) so that the cats got extra attention! Janice sent me daily updates, which I always looked forward to receiving. I would not hesitate to book again!

    Janice looked after our Daisy for a weekend and we cannot recommend her enough! Normally we worry leaving Daisy alone but Janice kept us updated constantly and always went the extra mile to make sure she was happy. Will definitely be booking again in the future!
