Candid Cats ^._.^

I had cats in my home throughout all my life and I began taking care of them as soon as I was old enough. Cats are fascinating. Each have their own personality and it is always fun to get to know them better. Bad Boy was my first cat. A black and white grumpy cat. I was a very small kid and had lots of fun with him even though he didn't seem that interested in playing with a child. Mio was my second cat. A white Persian cat with one blue eye and the other yellow. He had so much fur I had to brush him constantly. Thankfully, he enjoyed it a lot. I was still a child and got very sad when he passed away. I told myself he turned into a bright star in the sky and was watching over me. Mink was a shy cat. He loved lying inside the round bathroom sink on hot days.

Mexerica and Tupa are my current cats. They are lookalikes, both striped brownish grey cats. I got Mexerica first. To be fair, she chose me. She jumped on my lap and started climbing me and meowing I couldn't refuse taking her home. She is a strong-willed cat. Even when just a little kitten, she loved to play, was very energetic and a bit crazy. I love to put my hands on the side of the door, while hidden behind it. She looks at it like it is her prey and after a while does a big jump trying to catch it, and then runs away like the wind. She also developed the ability to open doors by herself, which is amazing and annoying at the same time. Tupa was a gift from my grandma. She lives in the country and knew I wanted another cat. He is the most affectionate cat I ever met. A true lap cat. He wants attention all the time and is very jealous of Ipads.

I was responsible for feeding, giving water and cleaning the litter for most of those cats throughout my life. Besides my official cats, I spent a lot of time with other cats in my grandparents country house in Rio, Brazil. When Lili was a little kitten she needed help feeding and I used a feeding bottle to help her many times. She grew up strong. Every day, at 17:30, my grandma calls for all the cats to go inside the house, so that we can release the dogs. I had many afternoons of calling and looking for Lili, Tito, Dadi, Tupi (yes, they plagiarised my cat's name) and Mel.

I cat-sat Killy for one month, a beautiful Maine Coon. Her owner was surprised that she let me touch her since she is very shy around strangers.

It is not possible for me to own a cat in the flat I am renting right now, but fortunately, I can take care of your cat! I am always respectful of the cat's space and personality, and love to make them company and take care of them. I can feed, play and clean after them, I've given medicine to cats before if that is necessary. Besides that, I'll also help taking care of your home. Watering plants, receiving mail and keeping it tidy.
