The cat lady!

Most recently I have been working as an operations manager in the dental sector. I have been in this industry for 26 years. I have informally been taking care of my neighbours cats for years whilst they are away. Cats have been part of my life since I was 3 years old. My Mum used to take me past this house where there were always lots of cats and I used to stop and say hello to them. One day an old man came out and handed me a black kitten, which I carried home on my lap in my pushchair. This was 41 years ago! Over the years I have been privileged to share my home with lots of cats and kittens - various waifs and strays! Our current guest is Plato, he is a black British short hair and he came home from Battersea with us in 2017. He is a house cat who is a complex being that has been mistreated in the past. He also has bowel problems that turn into emergencies quickly. He also requires various medications.

I am hard working and conscientious. I love cats and the courtship of winning their trust. I am intuitive and thoughtful and will always take care of your family member as if they were my own. I am comfortable looking after all cats and kittens. I can work with special diets and medications. I have not been trained to give injections, but if this is something you do regularly and would show me, then I can help. I change litter, clean up fur balls, mouse heads and other body parts! I am more than happy to open and close curtains, turn lights on and off and water plants etc.
