About Me

Friendly cat sitting

Hello, thank you for visiting my page. I have been a member of Cat In A Flat since 2024, but I have been cat sitting for friends and family for years and as I now mostly work from home, I've decided to expand my catchment to help other families locally who need a sitter.

I'm a life-long cat lover - I have two precious tabby cats and one black cat of my own. I know how much an owners' absence can be of stress to a cat, cats don't like change and often, new people, so I'll ensure that I will work within the cat's comfort level and make sure they are well looked after and pam-purred whilst you are away.

Feel free to ask any questions, look forward to meeting you and your cats!

Feeding, water change and litter box cleaning comes as standard. I am also willing, and if cats are willing, to play with your cats and spend some time giving them some affection. I can also administer prescriptions if required, but will need to be shown how best to do this for your cat in advance.

I am happy to do any other jobs required like removing post or watering plants.

    This is a repeat booking with Maria and I feel really confident leaving my cat in her care. Maria is totally reliable, keeping in contact during the sit with photos and updates twice daily. I came home to a happy and contented cat. I would recommend Maria to anybody.

    Maria is very friendly and provides an excellent service. I can thoroughly recommend her. My cat is an old lady and is very nervous but was fine and very well looked after. Maria took photos during each visit and sent them to me so that I could see my cat was ok. It is so reassuring to receive the photos.

    Maria is lovely, very accommodating and obviously loves cats. Teddy always looks well and happy when we return, unlike a visit to the cattery. We would definitely recommend her.

    Absolutely brilliant! Maria was my first sitter and my cat took to her immediately during the first meeting. During my holiday I received daily videos and updates, which meant I could relax and enjoy my time away. I returned to a very happy cat and will certainly book Maria in the future.

    First time we used Car in a flat, we had Maria and honestly can not fault her. She made contact daily, sent pictures and videos and when we came home the cats were relaxed and happy. Maria made the experience of leaving our cats at home whilst we went on holiday a plesant one and we had no concerns whilst away and we were able to be relaxed.

    Maria is great. She is friendly and reliable and I could tell from the photos and videos that our cat Zelda was well looked after. Maria also took on a last minute plant-watering chore for me which I am very grateful for. I hope she is available next time we are away!

    Maria is been fantastic!!We couldn’t find a better sitter to look after our Prince and Mittens.She took an excellent care of them and did all the possible to ensure they remained safe(calling them back home for the night,guarding over other cats intrusions etc)and happy(providing them lots of cuddles and moments to play).I feel reassured and serene
