A companion for your fur-babies whilst you are away

Hi, my name is Ilona. I’m a Private Assistant and work from home (98% of the time). I’ve always lived in a cat household since I was little. In the short interims when we didn’t have cats I would go to my aunts farm with a basket and collect the strays and bring them home… much to my mum’s dismay!

My husband and I are now parents to three very different and characterful cats. We have had all of them since kitten age. Darcey (Persian Chinchilla) and Heidi (Scottish straight) are very outgoing and playful, whilst Louis (Persian Chinchilla) is a gentle timid soul. Each of them is loved equally in our home and we don’t have restrictions on what they can or cannot do. Our babies own the place, we are merely tenants. 😬 Don’t feel sorry for us, this is how we want it to be! We try to give our babies the best life they could possibly have.

Knowing how difficult it is to find a companion/sitter for your fur-babies I thought I would try cat sitting for others as the horrors of a cattery would traumatise anyone. Perhaps I can brighten up some other people’s life’s and make them feel at ease when they are away from their floofs.

I can administer medication as long as it’s in any type of paste or pill form. If it’s needles or the like I’m afraid I’m not your girl. Happy to bathe and groom them, if and when accidents happen. I’m used to it and don’t mind. Happy to run the vacuum around the house too to ensure the home is clean and tidy as nobody wants to live in a home where litter gets on everyone’s paws. Gladly put out bins, open blinds/shutters and/or switch on lights so it looks like you are home. I would say I can look after your plants but it wouldn’t be true! I’ll struggle to keep a succulent alive. Also super happy to bring my laptop along and sit with your furries for a bit longer to give them companionship, my work can be mobile, it makes no difference to me where I answer emails.
