Meow's Mum

As I work from home and am a big cat lover, I wanted to help out fellow cat owners by offering my catsitting services.

I have used cat sitters before and know how important it is to have a reliable and trusting relationship with the person you are giving your house keys to! Our cats are so precious to us, and you want to know they are well looked after when you're away.

In my day job I work for an international children's charity, securing funding from businesses and philanthropists.

I currently have two indoor cats. Misty, 12, is my first baby. She's a feisty tortoiseshell, who only likes me! Dubby, 5, was a lockdown rescue. He is a chunky black cat who has the personality of a loving labrador!

Until this summer I also cared for a senior rescue boy called Meow. He had complex medical needs but was also extremely shouty and funny. He passed away peacefully this summer, but he taught me a lot about cat health and digestive problems. I have also done short-term fostering for a friend who runs a cat charit

Having owned three cats with different personalities I know that all cats are different. I will take my cues from your cats, ensuring they are as content as they can be while you're away.

Some want lots of playtime and fuss, others take a while to warm up, some want to be ignored entirely! I can just sit quietly and wait for them to come to me for a pet, or have an intense play session. Obviously, I'll deal with any food, water, litterbox and medicine needs during my visit too.

I promise to send lots of photos and updates about your kitty whilst you're away.
