Veterinary Nurse Cat Sitting - Low Moor, Wyke

Hello, my name is Kara , I’m 31 years old and live in the low moor area. I am a qualified veterinary nurse with just over 15 years experience working with animals.

Caring for animals has been my passion from a very young age, and cats are defiantly the best :) I was lucky enough to be a member of the cat care team for the RSPCA, here I helped rehabilitate and re-home stray and neglected cats. Gaining vital experience in both handling, medicating and helping cats with difficult behavior traits. I then moved on to gain my qualification in veterinary nursing, which is the job I am doing to date.

So i have gained a lot of experience working with all manor of cats and their quirks :). I am happy and confident working with aggressive, nervous and sensitive cats and I understand their needs.

I have never had a point in my life where i have not owned a cat, and couldn't imagine a life without one! I have Pickle now, he is 3 years old and I hand reared him from him being 24 hours old! He is the most precious thing in the world to me and being a cat owner myself I understand how stressful it can be going away and leaving them behind.

Rest assured I will look after them as if they were my own, and will happily send you daily updates and pictures/videos if you would like!

Being a qualified nurse I am happy to give medications, injections, prepare and weigh special diets if required. I run diabetic clinics at my current practice, and so I am very happy house sitting for diabetic patients.

If your cat is affectionate and likes to play then I will of course spend time with them giving strokes, cuddles and treats :)

I would also be happy to take bins out, turn lights on and off and pull on curtains and blinds if you do wish.

I am very happy to take pictures / videos and send them via whattsap while your are away!
