Cat sitter in Manchester

Hi,

My name is Steve, I'm 39 years old and live in the Alkrington area of Middleton, North Manchester.

One strong characteristic I've possessed all of my life is sensitivity, which is certainly demonstrated in my daily life. I am naturally caring and nurturing by nature, which is one of the reasons why I have such a good rapport with cats and am keen to contribute to their welfare.

I have also owned a cat in the past, Bobby, a small, black, short haired male, who sadly died at 11 years old, no age at all for a cat, due to a cancerous growth in his abdomen which spread to his liver. He was quite a character, extremely loving and affectionate to me, but guarded his territory very well, and would often get into fights with other cats. He also loved to bring me gifts, most commonly dead birds and dead mice. He would casually walk into the house, clutching the dead animal tightly in his mouth, and drop it at my feet as though to say: 'Thank you for feeding me, now here's some food for you.'

It's quite a number of years since Bobby was taken away from me. I still miss him immensely, and have a little casket with his ashes in on my living room window sill. Due to living arrangements and finances, I've been unable to adopt another cat since, however, now I'm getting more on my feet career wise, I plan to adopt two kittens in the not too distant future.

Presently, I'm in the process of building a business, an online shop, working from home. As my time is my own, and as a way of varying my time a little, I would also love to take care of your cat(s) whilst you're out at work during the day/away on holiday. I'm happy to feed, cuddle, play and clean out your cat's litter tray(s).
