June-August 2025: Plese note this period is really booked up for me, if you are a regular please get in touch and I'll try and squeeze you in if I can! If you're new, feel free to get in touch but I may not be able to take on your booking, however I can send you towards some great nearby sitters! If you're already enquired about dates, don't worry - they'll be in my diary already :)

Hi! I’m Lisa, I’m originally from Aberdeenshire but now live in Leith, I work in media production, I’m a podcast lover and I love animals, wild and domestic.

I have two black cats of my own, Atticus and Aurora, who are two high energy young cats so I’m very well equipped for play, cuddles, daily care and varying amounts of chaos! Despite being siblings they're totally different, so I know each cat needs to be approached differently.

I grew up with family cats so I’m used to older cat’s needs and we had various small pets that I’d also be happy to provide for. I also volunteered in a zoo for 5 years, so I’m used to dealing with cheeky animals and doing the not so glamorous jobs.

You can expect detailed updates and (too many?) pictures from my visits, where I’ll spend time with your cats in whatever way suits them best and take care of their daily needs.

When I used Cat in a Flat for the first time I found it really difficult to leave my cats with a stranger for the first time, so I will be able to understand your anxieties and look after your cats with the same care I would for my own. I had a great experience with my sitter which made me want to do this for myself.

I work from home most of the time, which means I can be available to fit your routine. I know being there for the owner is (nearly) as important as being there for their cats, so I'll be sure to provide you with plenty of pictures and updates while you're away.

I'm afraid I only do a couple of nights max of house sitting (staying at yours overnight) due to having my own needy cats to look after.

I can’t wait to meet some more kits and help you like my Cat in a Flat sitter did with me!

    Lisa was amazing with Zeus and Juno again while we were away for a couple of weeks. I have never left them alone for this long before so I was a little worried how they might react to this, but Lisa spent lots of time with them and sent lots of updates which reassured me a lot 😊 I came home to very happy kitties!

    Lisa is just wonderful! We are so happy to have found her and lucky enough she's been able to look after Varda the many times we've gone on holiday! She's fab at keeping in touch and sending the best video-updates! We fully trust Lisa and will always ask her to look after Varda when we go away! :-)

    Lisa was fantastic as our first time we booked her. Lots of updates, pictures, videos and I can see that my two ones have been in good care. They clearly love her cuddles and playful time together. Couldn't be happier, highly recommend her 🤗

    Lisa was amazing with my kitties! I was a little disorganised and needed Lisa to come see my kitties fairly last minute, but she accommodated this immediately which was such a life saver! Zeus and Juno had a great time as always 🥰

    Lisa was wonderful, I only have good words for her work. She knew it was my first time using cat in a flat and she went above and beyond. Pictures, videos, updates... Everything I could ask for and way more. No doubts my cats were in fantastic hands. I had a very relax holiday days because of her updates. I can't thank her enough 🤗

    Lisa was amazing with my cats Zeus and Juno, we chatted quite a bit before I went away and she kept in contact lots throughout her visits, sending lots of adorable pics/updates and generally just putting me at ease about being away from my babies. Both of my kitties took to Lisa immediately and loved being with her. Thank you so much! 🥰

    Lisa was BRILLIANT with our two troublesome boys while we were on our honeymoon - she dealt with a number of issues while we were away expertly, and we had full confidence that the cats were safe, well fed, and entertained the whole time we were away. She sent wonderful photos and videos every visit, and we returned to two happy cats!

    Lisa was absolutely wonderful with Varda whilst we were away and is genuinely a lovely person! She was great with all communication & sent lovely videos/pics and informative messages each day.
