A friendly replacement (of you) for your furry friend

Hi there!

That was a joke, I know you have no replacement! But I hope to look after your cat just as you would.

I'm Aisha, most likely your neighbour! You may have seen me out on my bike or on the school run if so!

I live in Whalley Range, Manchester and I work part-time. I have grown up with lots of pets, and I'm a parent to well-behaved children who also love cats.

I am a multi-modal traveller. I drive, but I will try to walk or cycle if local.

I regularly help with my mum's 3 cats ( older cats and kittens, there were 7 before kittens rehomed )and I've catsit/ housesit for someone on another site ( I think I can share a link to the reference upon request) and also for my parents. I'm good with plants and I've looked after plants, cats, chickens and fish for family and friends here in Manchester when they're away.

I have recently cat & house sit outside of Manchester and I enjoyed it so much I thought I'd join this site too. I've stayed in Airbnb's ( someone's family home the last time for about 10 days in Paris) whilst they were away. Since joining this site, I've had some lovely cats in flats/ houses locally too.

I'm nearby and generally around so happy to meet about future cat sitting. I have had a few cats/ clients on here, including colourful ex-street cat ( who literally jumps for his food, you know who you are!) and other lovely cats who I've repeat bookings for.

I don't drink or smoke and I've recently qualified in first aid. (Not cat first aid, but I have a bit of experience with taking pets to vets and im experienced in giving cats tablets and people ( family) injections as needed.)

I'm brilliant with cats, whenever I visit someone with a cat, they usually come to sit near me.

I find it really therapeutic to stroke or play with a cat, but equally I am respectful if your cat decides they don't want cuddles, a stroke or a play.

I will follow feeding instructions and make sure your cat is watered and lit trays clean.

I'd be happy to WhatsApp pics 📸 and updates. I'd be happy to pop in before and spend time playing spend more time, feeding or cleaning up as required.

I'm based in Manchester but I'm also interested in a sits further away if I can stay overnight.

I'm a home owner myself, so I'd treat your house with care and I'm happy to collect the post, water plants, look after chickens, frogs or ducks etc or do a house sit. If you fancy a chat to discuss anything, or want me to pop over to meet the boss ( cat) please let me know.
