Cat sitting in York

I am a nurse in York and I also volunteer with various charities in my spare time. I had my first cat when I was 3, and then as a family, we rescued and adopted various cats, 5 in total at one point. Our cats were/are all breeds and sizes and have their individual characters. I rescued my own cat, a Devon Rex called Stanley, in 2021 from Cats Protection in York. He's brought me alot of happiness and company. My husband rescued a sweet black cat called Blue this year from the RSPCA, who is very content in his new home and best friends with Stanley! I have learnt from a young age how to care for and love cats of any temperament and nature. I have had work experience in catteries and a at a local vets as well. We have also always owned rabbits, keeping them in a hutch and letting them play outside during the day in the garden. We have also had Guinea pigs too. I cat sit our friends cat whilst they are away and visit her twice a day to feed her and provide cuddles when she wants!

I have a DBS check from volunteering I do in the community that was last updated January 2024. I am a nurse, so would be confident and competent with injections or oral medicine if necessary. My cat Stanley has to have daily medications, so I am used to administration.
