I have been an animal lover and owner my whole life. From an early age, there was always at least one cat to cuddle in the house. After the sad loss of Rupert (15) and Georgie (18), my last two cats, I'm on the lookout for new friends to cuddle!

2024 Update: Currently being bossed around by new arrivals Ivy and Poppy (1 year old sisters) as is my gentle giant golden retriever!

Many moons ago, I worked in a boarding kennel and cattery and received full training in looking after the animals. In addition to looking after other people’s pets while on holiday, the kennel owners also bred springer spaniels and Irish setters. As a result, I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages from puppies and kittens to seniors.

Many of my neighbours already rely on me to help take care of their pets while they go out to work, on day trips, or to cover emergencies. As my children get older and need me less, I have decided to offer my services further.

I can offer once or twice daily visits as required. In my day job, I am self-employed and work from home, so I can be truly flexible. I treat every pet as though they were my own.

I'm happy to feed, play and cuddle and take time to get to know your pet. Litter trays will be kept clean and I'm happy to do little extras, such as pick up post, water plants or open and close curtains for your added peace of mind.

Having previously owned a fear-aggressive and reactive dog who was attacked as a puppy, I am only too aware that pets come with their own unique set of quirks. All I ask is that you are honest with me so I can care for them appropriately.

Please note that evenings, weekends and school holidays, I may have my thirteen-year-old son with me sometimes. Please let me know if this is an issue for you or your pet.

2024 Update: Happy to be back to cat sitting after some time out to concentrate on a family situation.
