About Me

Purr Purr Cat Sitting in South Edinburgh

Hi, we are Ioannis and Pantelia living in South Edinburgh. We are both from Cyprus, an island where the cat population is greater than that of humans so you can say we have seen a cat or two! We aim to offer reliable and enjoyable cat sitting service for your little ones.

Pantelia: I grew up with lots of cats as my mum would adopt all the stray cats in the neighbourhood. So it's no surprise that there are always around 10 of them in our backyard. My family's love for cats is so great that sometimes my mum would talk more to the cats than to us. I am currently working as a Cell Therapy Scientist, looking forward to enjoy my free time playing with and taking care of your little ones!

Ioannis: I have always loved cats since I was a kid and I remember running around the neighbourhood befriending all the cats I could find. It was not until I was 5 that I got my very own kitten. As the oldest child, he was my responsibility and I would spent most of my time with him. When my siblings got older we all shared the same love for cats and we ended up having a small army of them in our back yard. I have lived through their every stage and know their every quirk. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, mostly working from home.

As soon as we both moved to Edinburgh and got our flat, the next priority was to get a cat, our Tony. Knowing how important it is for us to leave Tony in good hands when we are on holidays, we want to offer the same to other families by giving all of our love and care to the cats. With Pantelia’s working shift pattern and Ioannis’s working from home, we have a wide range of availability throughout the week. We also own a car which give us more flexibility to cover larger area or do emergency visits. We are looking forward to meet you and your cat in person!!

Included: Visit between 30-60mins, feeding, fresh water and litter box maintenance. Brushing as well as plenty of interaction and playing with your cat. Always adjusting depending on your cat's needs.

    Ioannis and Pantelia have been amazing with our two cats. We felt assured that our cats were in good hands while we were away and we got daily updates and loads of photos and videos of them on a regular basis.

    Ioannis and Pantelia were great. Our cats are cowards and they made every effort to try and keep the cats calm by spending extra time trying to play with them and give them treats. I would highly recommend Ioannis and Pantelia to look after your cats if you are going away.

    From the point of meeting Marley, pre holiday, I was quite happy and confident Ioannis and Pantelia would be great cat sitters. They seemed at ease and Marley took to them straight away. Daily we had videos and photos showing Marley at play and at ease, We choose the two visits a day for a week and were more than happy with the service and price.

    Ioannis and Pantelia were amazing! They stayed with Etzalli for a good amount of time - he can get lonely when we are not around so it was great for him to have company and play with him. They also kept us constantly updated with pictures and videos, we'll definitely ask them to catsit again - nothing they could've done better.

    These guys were brilliant! Left Molly for the weekend and you wouldn’t have known it with how happy she was when I returned. She had clearly been well looked after. Photos and videos of her playing and cuddling so all very reassuring. Would definitely recommend.
