Hi!

I'm Polly and I LOVE cats.

Fun fact -- when I was a little girl, I wasn't allowed to get a cat because my mom was allergic. So instead, I was given cat stuffies and told that when I was an adult, the cats would become real. I was given three cat stuffies and -- guess what -- in the years since, I have adopted three wonderful pet kitties (two of which have sadly passed on).

I am currently a cat mom to 15 year old Calvin, who I found on the streets of Los Angeles when he was just a kitten. He moved from California to London with me, and is quite healthy and happy although I think he misses the sunshine.

In Los Angeles, I volunteered for a cat rescue organization for over ten years, and also did freelance pet sitting myself on and off for many years.

I will do my best to make this experience as low stress for you and your pet as possible!

In my professional career, I have worked as a PA and a tour manager, so I am reliable, organized, and have excellent attention to detail.

I am happy to take care of your home as well -- turning lights on/off, bringing in the post, watering plants, etc. and making sure everything is safe and secure for your return.

Unlike some sitters, I will not just sit on my phone during the visit! I absolutely love cats and will enjoy playing, brushing, and generally fussing over your fur baby (if they are happy for me to do so).

My cat Calvin has early stage kidney disease and IBS, so I am very accustomed to special diets, medications, and routines. I am also comfortable giving injections and SubQ fluids if your cat is used to the process -- but I note I am NOT formally trained to do so.

I am also comfortable with other pets like guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and fish, and happy to look after them too.
