Caring Catsitter in Edinburgh!

Hello! My name is Xenia, 29 years old, originally from Germany, and I have recently graduated from university. I run my own small business selling art, jewellery and home accessories and am always in the middle of some new complicated project, be it prepping for a Fringe show or renovating my flat.

I have lived with cats since the age of 4, so have had a lot of experience with cats and how they develop through the ages. We had four Siberians growing up - Cassiopeia, Aksinja, Akulina and Artoschka - and I very much saw them as my siblings. They've all moved on into their next adventure by now, but my family and I still miss them every day.

I am known among my friends for going out of my way to befriend any cat that I encounter, which has led to many epic tales, like when I organised the Portuguese fire brigade to rescue a cat from a roof space he'd gotten stuck in while on holiday. We called him Maurice!

I work from home on a flexible schedule, so can easily drop in on your cat(s) at whatever times you would prefer, once or twice a day. If you've booked my catsitting service before, I am also happy to offer overnight stays.

I love a cuddly cat, but won't ever disrespect the boundaries a cat sets with me, so am happy to give them as much or as little contact as they want. If they're playful, I'll happily entertain them for as long as they want during my stay.

For indoor cats that have access to some kind of outdoor space, I can ensure their safety and watch them while they're outside.

I will follow any specific feeding instructions you set out and tidy up anything that the cat(s) might have disturbed while you're away.

And of course, I will send you daily pictures and update you on anything noteworthy 😊
