Ad hoc cat sitting in the Greendykes area of Edinburgh

Hi! My name is Morven, I'm 24 and I moved to Edinburgh from Aberdeenshire in 2022. I am a qualified nursery practitioner, but nowadays work almost exclusively as a self employed maths, biology and chemistry tutor. My two cats, Raya and Luna, live with my parents - they visit sometimes, but I miss them greatly when they're not here...so what better a solution than cat sitting?

I currently cat sit for one family in the area, but would appreciate clear guidance on your own expectations. Hopefully knowing I work with children reassures you that your fur babies would be in safe hands! I'm a very bubbly individual, but can of course be calm around animals - I'd be perfectly willing to sit/lie on the floor until they decide they want to come and say hi to me! My hobbies include music and dancing, and I also have an MSci (Hons) in Molecular Biology...although I almost forgot to mention that!

I love to travel, so am not looking for regular work (once a week, every week type stuff). Instead, I am looking for occasional sitter opportunities - perhaps you have an appointment and will be away for the whole day/overnight, or are going away for a long weekend, or perhaps even a longer holiday. Provided I'm in Edinburgh myself, I would love the opportunity to take care of your fur babies in your absence!

From having my own cats, I'm well used to the standard feeding, litter tray, treats and cuddles business. If you have specific requests/routines with any of these, please let me know so we can ensure I can provide the service you expect. I'd hate to be a disappointment, especially knowing how much my own cats mean to me!
