Hello! I’m Kirsty, a reliable and pet-loving professional in my 30s with a lifelong passion for animals. I discovered Cat in a Flat when searching for someone to care for my own little fur family and wanted to offer the same care for others.

My own pet family includes a tabby-tortoiseshell cat who thinks she’s part dog, a mischievous but affectionate ginger tom, and a cocker spaniel who now shares her bed with her feline friends. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed caring for a variety of animals, from kittens, cats and dogs to guinea pigs, bearded dragons, lizards, and even giant tortoises. Many of these customers are now regulars and I’ve shared in watching their little ones grow. Each has a unique personality, and I adapt my care style to suit their individual needs.

I’m available to feed, play with, administer medication, or simply keep your pets company—whatever makes them feel most comfortable. I understand that every pet is unique and tailor my approach to each one. I also offer services like watering plants, sorting post, and any other small tasks to make your time away as stress-free as possible.

I have my own transport and can provide regular photo updates on WhatsApp, so you can rest easy knowing your pet is well. My schedule allows for some flexibility, though specific feeding times may need to be arranged due to my full-time role.
