About Me

Experienced and trustworthy petsitter in Marchmont / Bruntsfield

Hi there! My name is Caterina, I am an Italian PhD student in Philosophy. I moved to Edinburgh one year ago to live with my husband and cat (Mimì, a sweet and goofy girl) and to finish writing my dissertation. I've been surrounded by cats since I was a child, and taking care of them for relatives and friends is something I've always done with pleasure in the past. I've also been using this service myself many times, and now I would love to give back and take care of your own cats when you need it.

I’m a lifelong cat person with plenty of experience living with cats, and I understand how each one has their own unique personality. I’ll make sure to follow your specific instructions for feeding, keep their space clean, and offer the right kind of attention—whether that’s energetic play for a younger cat or gentle affection for a senior. I’m a very tidy and respectful of others’ spaces, so you can count on me to keep things in order. I can open windows to let fresh air circulate, clean up any litter, and even water plants or collect post if needed. I’ll send daily updates and photos of your cats and will let you know of any issues, but otherwise, I’ll make sure you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. Rest assured, I’ll treat your cats with the same care and attention I give my own. 🐱

    Caterina was wonderful with Boo again. He is not doing too well, with Stage 3 kidney disease. I was working on stabilising his condition, so could not go away for 3/4 of the time, but managed to get away for one night, and that was down to being able to trust Caterina. She hand-fed him and spend time giving him cuddles. I'd 100% recommend her

    Caterina is THE BEST! She takes time to get to know your cat and what they like, is very gentle and friendly with them and the owners! She was always on time, sent lots of photos and genuinely loves cats. I am definitely going to ask her to look after my cat again.

    Caterina watched my cat Rafa over the Christmas holidays and I had an excellent experience. She was very communicative, sent tons of videos and pictures and even visited him twice on Christmas day. I returned home to a very well cared for and happy cat.
