Local to St Mellons Relaxed Cat Sitter who loves Animals (but mostly cats!)

Hello! My name is Ihsana (or Sana for short) and I live in St Mellons, Cardiff. I’ve been doing cat sitting for 3 years now and in that time have also rescued my own kitty, a fluffy tortie girl named Cleo. Growing up I lived on a smallholding- with chickens, geese, ducks and also always had family pets, including two fluffy black ragdoll brothers! I love all animals, but cats hold a special place in my heart. Doing Cat Sitting is something I find such joy in and very rewarding. I take my time with all cats and allow them to come to me on their own terms, and am calm and mellow around them with a soft voice. I work from home, so I’m very flexible and I also have a car which allows me to go a little further out if necessary. As a person I am easy going, non-judgemental and friendly, and I will treat your cats as if they were my own. I am more than happy with lengthy instructions, pet cameras, and will provide updates for each visit via whatsapp which will include pics (and videos if I manage to get to play with them or if they come up for a cuddle!). If something's out of the ordinary or if any kind of accident occurs (small or big), I will always reach out and let you know, and am happy to accommodate for any situation that may occur. I’m also more than happy to take out the bins, or water any plants whilst you are away if requested. I am DBS checked and have pet-sitting insurance which provides additional cover. I look forward to making friends both furry and non furry along the way! :)

Having done this for three years, I've met all kinds of cats and clients and (outside of looking after my own animals) feel that I've gained a sufficient amount of experience to give the best possible care as a cat sitter. I’m very relaxed, easy going, flexible and reliable. I make sure to give your cats lots of cuddles and/or playtime (on their terms of course!). I try to stay quite mellow around animals so it’s not too intimidating for them and allow them to come to me. I have dealt with all kinds of cats from ones that are really quite anxious to mildly sassy cats - doing a meet and greet is great for me to get a better understanding on how your cat feels around me and how I should act around them. I would appreciate it if you tell me if your cat has tendency to scratch/bite so I know what to expect and how to approach (by maybe less attention/strokes etc). I don’t tend to do overnight stays as I’m not the most comfortable with staying in other peoples homes, however I’m happy to stay with your cat for longer periods of time but that would need to be discussed in advance. I’ve got a few regular customers and hoping to grow my network.
