Freelance journalist and trusted petsitter looking for London-based felines to look after

Hello. I'm Susie. I live in Margate and work as a freelance journalist for the Guardian and BBC.

I'm friendly, trustworthy and as someone who rents out their home through Airbnb when I'm away, I know how important it is to make sure your feel comfortable leaving your home with someone else.

When I’m not busy writing away at my Mac with a green tea by my side, I can usually be found desperately trying to improve my plank at Pilates, wild swimming or going for a hike. I’m also a fan of volunteering (currently at a local foodbank), cycling, cutting down on waste, reserving books at my local library, and reading the papers.

As I'm regularly visiting London, I'd like to find a few lovely places I can catsit for throughout the year.

Visits don't work for me - I can't edit this - but very happy to stay over.

I moved to Margate almost nine years ago and since then have become to go-to cat/dogsitter for friends and their friends' in London, where I like to regularly visit. I adore cats and have looked after more than 25 cats over the past six years. I'm happy looking after cats that like their own space or those that like to curl up on the sofa and enjoy a stroke.

I also catsit (and dogsit) for pals in Margate too. I know, I'm a good mate. I'm looking for more places where I can look after your lovely cat and stay over.

Last-minute often works for me too.

Can give cuddles/feed/look after the house/water plants.
