About Me

Kind, caring & trustworthy cat lover

Hi! I'm Amanda - I grew up with cats and have always adored them. I’m a very proud mum to my young cat Rupert and my little kitten Parker. By day I am a children’s book editor but I’d almost always rather be playing with my cats!

I'm an obsessive lover of furry things and will take care of your pet with the same care as you do. I have more than 3 years of cat sitting experience in and around Dorking (see all the beautiful cats on my clients page!). I have had cats my whole life too, so you can feel confident that your furry friend will be cared for kindly and with love.

I will feed, cuddle, play and give treats and any medications as you instruct. I’ll send updates and photos each time I visit (unless you prefer otherwise).

I reply to all enquiries promptly as I’m sure you’ll want a quick answer in order to make plans. I am very happy to take on last minute requests so do ask no matter how close to your holiday it is. When you book me, I’ll pop round to say hi to you and your pet, collect keys and find out exactly what your catty needs while you’re away.

It is a huge privilege to be trusted with people's precious pets and to look after their homes while they are away. I’ll take great care of your home, leaving everything clean and tidy just as I find it and a happy, relaxed and safe cat for you to come back to.

I’m able to put bins out, bring in parcels, and look after other smaller pets too - recent clients have included fish and some very noisy guinea pigs.

    We booked Amanda for New Year as our usual cat sitter was away. She was super friendly, sent multiple daily updates and photos which we loved, while leaving our house exactly as we left it. Thank you so much for looking after Pudding and Earl Grey! We would love to book again in the future!

    Amanda did a great job caring for our senior cat, Sass whilst we were away. Comms running up to the booking were proactive and timely, and the daily updates were much appreciated. It was good to see she was getting lots of love and affection in our absence. Came home yesterday to a cheerful and well fed kitty! Thanks Amanda!

    Amanda’s communication was great throughout. She was flexible with her availability and arranging an initial meeting with us. Mabel has a couple of unusual requirements and Amanda was more that happy to accommodate. She followed all instructions and we came home to a happy cat.
