About Me

Caring and Careful - Reliable Cat Sitting in South Warrington

I have loved cats for many years and owned a number of cherished pets since I was 10. Bernie was my childhood friend and lived for 16 years. Next I had Glad, Dizzy and Damien (all rescues) who all lived to a ripe old age. I then adopted Callie and after she died of cancer I rescued Minnie who was the best thing that ever happened to me. After she was runover at the age of 20 4 years ago I have not been able to welcome in another cat, but I do love and miss cats and always enjoy their company when I visit other homes.

I am a mature self-employed educational consultant living in Warrington. I have spent many years in adult education and train managers to develop their potential.

I have many friends and interests including theatre, reading, walking and sports. I love animals and support a number of animal welfare organisations and rescues. Also registered dog walking volunteer with Cinnamon Trust.

Update Feb 23 - just adopted Cybele who is 17 and a rescue. She's beautiful.

Update Jan 24 - Cybele has been with me almost a year and is friendly and very vocal! Goddess by name and by nature!

Update Nov 24 - Cybele is happy and healthy and in very good condition according to the vet.

I offer a very reliable and caring service, recognising that cats are so precious to owners. I do all necessary tasks of feeding, watering and clearing up including litter trays. Love to play with cats with toys if the cats enjoy this and also to sit and give cuddles, again if the cat likes to do this.

I live in South Warrington and able to offer services across this area.

I have an enhanced DBS and am subscribed to the update service which keeps this current.

Experienced at caring for cats, dogs, parrots, guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragon, tortoise. goldfish. Relied on by my friends to look after their pets when they are away.

    Sonia was great. We set up a visit and she asks lots of questions about the cats and made loads of notes about their habits, likes and requirements. Sonia was happy to send daily updates (I didn't need them but it was offered). Cats were happy and well fed, a perfect week (and our bearded dragon benefitted from the company as well). Thank you
