Flexible and Caring Cat Lover in London

Hi! I’m Sophia, a freelance writer, organiser, and slow traveller who’s been house and pet sitting my way around the world for the last couple of years. I grew up with five cats (plus a few litters of kittens!) and have always felt completely at ease around animals. Last year, I cared for four cats for a month in London, giving each one individual attention, play, cuddles (when permitted), and a calm, reassuring presence while their owner was abroad.

I’ve completed seven official housesits in places like Portugal, Guatemala, Mexico and Bulgaria, most with cats! Whether they’re shy or sassy, curious or cuddly, I find it easy to connect with cats. I’m relaxed, grounded, and respectful of the homes I stay in. I love slow mornings with a coffee and a cat nearby. Whether it’s playtime or quiet companionship, I genuinely adore spending time with animals. Yes, I chat to them too.

I also work remotely, so I’m often at home during the day. Great for cats who like company or a lap to curl up on.

Any other bits? I will water your plants, bring in mail, and keep the house clean and secure. I treat your home and your cat with genuine care and respect, as if they were my own.
