Need an

cat sitter?
About Me
Experienced cat sitter in Andover
I am 67 years old and retired early (although I still photograph weddings to keep myself occupied and get me out of the house), and have owned cats for the last 55+ years.
Whilst living in Dubai (between 2011 and 2016), I rescued and fostered over 30 stray cats (one of whom we brought back to England with us, we simply couldn't let him go) and pet-sitted (cats, dogs, fish) for over 75 clients whilst they were out of the country (on holiday or business trips).
Sadly we lost our very vocal male ginger 7 year old foster-fail from Dubai (Creamer) to kidney failure in November 2022, but we are still caring for my mother's 15year old female black cat (Jasmine).
My most recent DBS (CRB) check was in January 2024.
Through no fault of the cattery, we know how upset and scared Creamer got when we left him in a cattery (unfamiliar surroundings and smells, unable to go out and patrol his home territory), so I know that although your cat will miss you, they will also be much happier being cared for in their own familiar environment.
Aside from the usual cat care (feeding, cleaning out litter trays, fussing and playing), I am happy to administer medication (Creamer required steroid tablets and occasional injections to keep his acute gingivitis under control). I am also happy to water your plants.
We live in Andover (SP10 4NG), and I am happy to travel up to 5 miles each way for any visits.
I haven't selected any of the additional pet sitting services (birds, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, fish) simply because I don't have much experience with these pets (I did keep tropical fish many years ago - I had both freshwater and salt-water aquariums), but am willing to care for such pets after some clear instructions from yourself.
In addition to sending you daily photographs and updates on your cat(s) as reassurance, for any bookings of 5 days or longer, I will include a complimentary 30 minute photo shoot of your cat(s), with 10 edited digital images and 1 A4 print (worth £99).
You can see a small selection of photos of some of the pets (mostly cats) that I have pet-sitted previously at https://pendragon.photography/pets/
