Cat sitter in Hythe

Hi, my name is Chessy and I am proud cat mum to James and Lily. I was also lucky to have a lovey boy named Gary as part of the family for 12.5 years. In 2016 Gary was diagnosed with Diabetes, and later that year became incredibly unwell with acute kidney failure. Following a miraculous recovery (and a long stay in cat hospital!), we began a long 6 months of administering insulin twice daily, as well as subcatanious fluids via a drip - all from the comfort of our home. Gary required insulin daily for the rest of his life, and had many health issues which we comforted and supported him with. We sadly had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy at the start of 2023, as his health conditions became too complex and there was nothing we could do for him.

You can probably tell that I appreciate how much a cat can be part of the family, and have no issue with a bit of giving a bit of extra care and attention (even if the cuddles are more for me!). I’m trust worthy and reliable, having worked with children for a number of years before my current management role in social housing, for which I receive regular CRB checks.

I’m happy to deal with feeding, watering, stroking, playing and litter scooping as required! I can water plants etc whilst visiting if needed, but have to admit I’m better at looking after cats than plants!
