Hello there!
I have just moved to Glasgow and will be offering cat sitting in the area I live in. Before living here, I was a cat sitter through this website in another city for 6 years so I have plenty of experience. I LOVE cats and very much miss my cats back home. I'll take any chance to spend time with the cats in my neighbourhood!
I take this job really seriously and you can rest assured that your cat/s will be in the best care with me.
HOW I WORK AND OPTIONS FOR YOU:
My standard house visits are 45 minutes long, where on top of food/water and litter box care, I spend lots of time playing and/or cuddling (depending on your cat's preference).
If you would like me to spend longer than 45mins with your cats, please let me know in your initial request. We can discuss your requirements and agree on a new total price.
If you would like me to just pop in for 5-10 mins to top up the food and clean the litter box, please also let me know in your initial request as I am happy to offer a lower price.
If you select 2 visits a day, I will normally do one 45-min long visit and one 5-10 min long visit unless otherwise specified.
WHAT I DO DURING A VISIT:
I will take the best care of your cat(s), look after their basic needs, and keep them good company however way they prefer! I'm happy to give them pets and scratches, and also play with them and their favourite toys to their heart's content. However, I also understand that some cats are a bit on the shyer side and prefer to stay by themselves, which is a wish I am always happy to respect. In that case, I would just refill their bowls, clean the litter box, and let them live their happy lives without intruding too much, but still have a seat somewhere in the house for a while so they have a little company.
If you are staying away for a while and you would like me to, I could do little jobs, like taking out the trash, moving mail, watering plants or opening/closing curtains/windows, in order for your home to stay secure and clean.
WHAT TIMES I AM AVAILABLE:
During weekdays, I am able to attend either in the early morning or late afternoon/evening. I currently work Mon-Fri, but have flexible starting/finishing times and 2 days work from home a week.
During weekends, I can attend any time.
ABOUT ME:
I have been taking care of my two cats since I was very little. Since they have very different personalities, I got quite good at understanding the needs of every cat and their body language in order to take care of them in the most appropriate way.
I now have 6 years of experience in Catinaflat, and have met so many cute kitties! I am even more honed in on noticing each cat's different personality, and respecting it fully!
Also, I'm a photography graduate so I'll be sending you amazing update photos of your cat!
