About Me

A friendly and respectful cat sitter

Hi, I'm Lauren. I've always loved animals and was raised by a pet loving family in a house with (what was at one point) a lot of cats and our family dogs. I have experience with caring for pet cats, dogs, hamsters even a pet hedgehog. I am also cat-mama to our 10 year old fluff & sass ball called Katsu and sweet little 5month old Nyx who joined our family recently too. I'm never fully ok with leaving Katsu when we go on holiday, she can get so anxious, so I thoroughly understand how important it is to know that your pet is well cared for and the importance of getting regular updates from your cat sitter whilst you're away.

Catsitting is not just about reassuring the humans it's about making sure your kitty is content and safe. That's where my focus lies. Whether your cat likes a good belly scratch, cuddles, active playtime or just some socially distanced company with a few slow blinks thrown their way, I prioritise what they need depending on their personality. I aim to give all the kitties I sit for quality social and fun time they will enjoy. I tend to all the daily care needs like keeping litter trays clean & the house cat safe and food and water bowls refilled. I give them the time they need and I'll make sure to send updates at each visit with pictures or videos to let you know how things are going. I'm happy to administer medication if required and can even help with plant care, taking the bins in/out and other odd jobs that will help you whilst you're away.

    Lauren was fantastic again! Deemy is very timid, Lauren spent time with her and Deemy came out of her shell, allowing strokes and chin rubs, it was lovely to see the photo/video updates. Everything was immaculate when I returned and Deemy was fine. I was so pleased with the care and progress building trust. Highly recommend Lauren 😊😻

    Lauren took excellent care of my cat Sweep, who can be quite shy but seemed to warm to her straight away. She provided updates and pictures as requested, and was friendly and helpful throughout. Will definitely book again!

    Lauren was fantastic! Knowing I was nervous at leaving my boy for two nights, she provided reassurance he’d be well looked after and he was, as evidenced by the photos, videos and excellent updates. Clearly a cat person and understanding of his needs which is what you want. Will feel comfortable booking again so thank you Lauren 😺

    I can’t praise Lauren enough, Deemy is nearly 18 and usually timid with other people but she let Lauren hand feed her and even came out of her igloo! Everything went smoothly, communication was great and Deemy was laid back and fine when I got back. I loved the photos and videos and am so happy, Lauren is really lovely and I’m proud of Deemy! 😻

    Lauren was absolutely amazing. Before we had a meet and greet where we went through everything about Seven and Simon. Lauren during the stay kept me updated daily on the cats and reassured me that they were both happy and safe! I came home to two very calm chilled cats! Would recommend Lauren and definitely have her come again 😌

    Lauren was absolutely fantastic, from the day me & Izzy first met her, I felt at ease & knew she was in safe hands while I was away! She kept me updated with lots of photos & messages every day & even helped me out, when my electricity went off for a few days, I would definitely recommend her & Izzy really wants her to come back in the future 😘

    Due to really bad snow conditions my trip was cancelled. Lauren had come to meet us beforehand and was lovely, friendly and helpful. All communication via email and message was also great. I have provisionally booked her for later in the year. I would highly recommend

    Lauren was an amazing Xmas host for my 5 month old kitten. He had the best time. I met with Lauren. First and she made me feel so comfortable about leaving him there. Rearranged space and couldn’t do enough. Fab updates to reassure me and photos of his holiday. Can’t recommend Lauren highly enough. Thank you so much
