Caring Cat Companion

I am a full time pet sitter. I have been home and pet sitting for 6 years as a nomad. I enjoy travelling the UK and the world while still spending a significant amount of time in my home town London.

I am also an Artist. I hold a Masters degree in Fine Art. I am currently working through a long reading list in preparation for submitting a PhD application. Which means plenty of time at home on the sofa with a book and a cat!

I am also a conservation volunteer and have volunteered with organisations protecting birds, turtles, bears and wolves, bats, and marine life, in the UK, Malta, Poland, Greece and the Channel Islands.

I only offer live in cat sitting. I don't feel that drop in visits are sufficient for cats. I see cats as social animals just as loving and giving as dogs, also needing to know that they have a human friend at home to give them care, company and a feeling of security.

I spend time getting to know each cat, making every effort to make firm friends. I follow instructions from cats owners as to what kinds of interactions they are used to and comfortable with. Cats receive daily cuddles and play time (if they wish!).

I have experience giving medications including pills, ear cream, eye drops and vet pen injections.

I am also more than happy to care for indoor plants and outdoor plants and gardens during my stay.

I am happy to offer additional care for small animals. I have experience with Guinea pigs, tortoises, chickens and birds.
