My parents first got me a cat when I was 5. As an adult, my first cat had EDS so we spent a lot of time visiting the vet and I gained some experience of post-operative care. I also gained a little experience of cat walking before we moved to a quieter area.

When I visit your cat (or weaned and litter-trained kitten), I clean and refill their food bowls and water container, plus, I clean their litter tray during each visit (and will clean it again if they use it while I'm there).

I can visit once a day (usually during the afternoon/early evening) for 45 minutes or I can visit twice a day.

Twice daily visits will usually consist of a very brief morning visit with a longer visit to keep your cat(s) company during the afternoon/early evening (or vice versa) - totalling approximately 90 minutes across the two visits.

When I don't have appointments, I will often stay longer than 45 minutes for a single visit or longer than the total of 90 minutes for the double visit - if your cat(s) would appreciate the company.

For those who have a very nervous rescue cat that wants to be left alone, I can shorten my single visit to the minimum 20-30 minutes, if that will cause less stress for your cat.

I can be very quiet so nervous or shy cats need not worry about my presence. I will let your cat approach me. If your cat(s) would like a cuddle or someone to play with then I'm your lady but if they'd prefer their own space then I'm also your lady.

I recommend a meet and greet with yourself and your pet(s) to ensure we are all happy and that I have all the information needed.

I also have a little experience of looking after other pets so a mixed pet household is not a problem. I've looked after the pets of friends and family including fish, hamsters and rabbits.

    My cats had a wonderful time with Karen, who spoiled them every day. They loved Karen. Karen sent me updates on the cats and enclosed lots of photos, which was so lovely. Karen sent plenty of regular updates & photos, and it was lovely to see that our little cat, who is normally very shy of strangers, had warmed to Karen really quickly and was enjoying lots of cuddles!     My cat Cleo is extremely shy and not that into people but I was thrilled to receive photos of Cleo sat on Karen’s lap everyday - she must have felt very safe and comfortable which is so reassuring to know.
