About Me

Experienced cat and small pet sitter

Hello, my name is Connie and I am an experienced cat sitter. I have recently relocated from Reading where I had the pleasure of caring for my clients' cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.

I am a huge animal lover. I have never lived without an animal, my first pets were dogs, a poodle called Camey, and a cairn terrier called Prince. For the last 13 years my lovely cat Belle has allowed me to live with her 😊 and she brings me great joy. 

My love of cats began about 30 years ago when I volunteered at a shelter for homeless cats and helped to re-home them. When I bought my first flat I re-homed one of the kittens and called her Trudie, she lived until the age of 21. She was still alive when my children were born and Trudie became their first pet. While my children were growing up we also had pet Guinea Pigs, hamsters and rabbits.

Belle has a heart murmur and a few health niggles now that she is getting older. She has a special diet and medicine so am I confident in dealing with any of your pet's special requirements. 

I always meet pet owners and their pets for a previsit so that you can decide if I am the best fit. This also allows owners to tell me all about their pets as well as their likes and dislikes.

During my visits, I always make sure there is time for cuddles and play. After each visit, I will update you with news, photos and videos so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you are away from home.

I have my own transport, so in the unlikely event that your pet needs to visit the vet while you are away I can get them there quickly. 

COVID - 19 Safety: I am fully vaccinated and I ensure that I hand sanitise before I enter your home. 

One or two visits per day to your cat(s) or other small animals

Playtime and unlimited cuddles, tummy rubs, chin and neck tickles. Whatever your pet has a preference for 😀

Visits into the garden for a run around and fresh air if you request this for your pet

Feed the birds and squirrels, we have to look after our wildlife 😊

Feeding/Water change

Administration of medication

Litter box cleaning

I am also happy to open/close curtains, water plants etc while you are away

    Connie is the best cat sitter!! She first came round to meet our cat and run through where things were in the house, then she popped back round to collect a key a few days before we left. She was very good at communicating with us and sent many pictures and videos which we absolutely loved. We will definitely be using Connie from now on!

    Connie has made such a great bond with my cat mackie. I can tell how relaxed he is with her and this puts my mind at rest when I'm away. Connie is always reliable and sends me photos and videos of mackie, which is brill. I get anxious leaving mack but knowing Connie is visiting really helps me relax when I'm away.

    Connie was fantastic looking after our two cats. They both have very different needs and she was accomodating to both. This was our first time using a cat sitter service so we were a little nervous but Connie was reliable, punctual and gave regular updates (and pictures!) which totally put our minds at ease. We would definitely recommend Connie :)

    Connie looked after mackie for 4days whilst I was away and she was fantastic with him. She came to meet him prior to my trip away, so that mack could be familiar with her and I could tell from the photos she sent that he was very content and relaxed in her company while I was away. I came home to a very happy boy.
