About Me

Experienced Cat-Sitting Service - Heatons & Didsbury

Hi! My name is Maddie and I am a museum worker. I am a feline-mad owner of a gorgeous 4-year-old and a hyper 1-year-old moggy.

For many years, I was lucky enough to own 5 lovely adopted boy kitties - ages from 6 weeks to 23 years old! I have lots of experience house sitting for neighbours and friends, including cat-, hamster-, rabbit- and dog-sitting, and cuddling cats when and where I can! My current older cat also has a chronic digestive illness, plus asthma, which means I am practiced and confident in giving pills, using feline inhalers, and other medicines.

I am DBS checked, and I'd be more than happy to bring along toys or treats. I have great experience in the less favourable aspects of cat-care (vomit? hairballs? litter trays? accidental toilet spills? no problem!) and can send over pictures as frequently as you'd like so that you can rest easy :)

I am more than happy to care for cats of any temperament or age. I have lots of cat toys and treats of my own which I can bring to keep your cat active and entertained, and I am not at all fazed by aggression, illness or messiness!

As I also have pet fish and a pet gecko, and have previously cared for frogs, mantids and snakes, I would also be very happy to care for any other pets you might have! Just ask :)

    Maddy was able to help us out at short notice with cat sitting at our house for our cat Simba. She responded quickly and is really friendly. Arranged to come over before we went away and was very thorough about asking questions and finding out what we required. Simba isnt the most welcoming cat and we had not left him for so long before, having Maddy cat sit him was so reassuring. She sent us as many updates as we wanted. Its clear to see she is really caring when taking care of your pet. Which is what we appreciated the most. She is attentive to your cat’s behaviour, eating, and even mood. Somehow she managed to befriend bit of a difficult cat. We absolutely loved her updates and will definitely be booking with her again! Thank you so much Maddy x
