About Me
Cat loving professional
Hello everyone!
I'm a cat lover and my cat has sadly now passed away. I work from home most days and have time to spend with other furbabies!
I treated my cat as my baby and she was the most important thing to me. I understand that this is the case for many other owners and will give all the love I can so that their time away from you is the best it can be. I will send you many videos and photos so you are kept updated and aren't worrying about them whilst you are gone (if you wish to receive them that is!).
I cat sit for my parents too and am the only one in the family they will go to!
I volunteer for a local cat charity in my spare time and thanks to this I have learned a lot about cat care, cat behaviour and general advice. As part of my role in the charity I am often asked for advice about cats. I also sell toys and cat items for the charity so would happily bring some along if requested. I am also a trained foster carer for cats with them and will be fostering with them too.
I am available for some overnight stays.
I'm reliable, respectful and friendly :)
Happy to do a meet and greet prior to booking.
Please message me with any questions, happy to answer.
I have completed a course on cat welfare (quality of life) and attended a webinar on hypertension.
I understand I'm not the cheapest sitter on the app but I do really long visits and really care for the cats!
Whatever the cat needs (cuddles, treats, litter change, clean up, playtime)
I have experience using ear cream but prefer not to do injections as these are difficult alone.
I have a car so can do emergency vet trips or ones in the daytime if you're unavailable.
My visit lengths depend on the cats and their needs, as well as my schedule that day. Visit durations are a minimum of 20 minutes but usually around an hour - it depends on the cat. If the cat is very shy and scared around visitors I will see what is best for the cat on that occasion. I have successfully gone from looking after a shy and scared cat who hissed and didn't want to be near me, to getting strokes and eating out of my hand within a week using my cat behaviour knowledge and skills.
Typical visits for friendly cats are usually an hour or so. Depending on my diary, what the cat needs and owner preference, I may work from the owner's house for a few hours to make sure the cat gets the attention they need (this is usually for indoor cats or those that are used to having an owner next to them 24/7). All of this can be discussed and agreed depending on you and your furbaby!
