It´s Meow or Never

Hello! :) My name is Juan and I live in central Brighton. I am a 35 year old Spaniard working in tech here in the city since 2019, when I moved to the UK.

There have always been cats in my life from an early age, first at my parents house and then when I became independent and decided to adopt my own feline companions. Due to relocating to the UK I was forced to leave my kitty behind with a trusted friend in Madrid, the city I am from. Her name is Mari and I miss her greatly, but luckily I get to see her a few times a year when I visit back.

During the pandemic, which was tough for all of us, I realized how much I missed having a kitty and caring for an extra furry family member. Additionally, with the nature of work having changed greatly (I work from home almost all of the time since 2020) I realized I would be able to adopt a cat and care for her/him appropriately, but unfortunately my current rental agreement prevents me and my girlfriend from having pets, and after giving it some thought I decided to sign up to this service, which is the closest thing I can think of from having a kitty myself.

I am the type of person that will always stop to pet a cat on the street, that also understand that each feline is unique and that most are very independent, being able to discern when they would like some cuddles, some play time, or some quiet companion in the sofa. Cat in a Flat gives me the opportunity to interact regularly with cats, and I couldn´t be more excited to link up and get to know your kitty!

As a cat owner for many many years, I´ve always enjoyed the most interacting and playing with them, and getting to know their personalities.

Through classic toys, laser pointers, hand-made spice/herb balls, and DIY furniture I like to think I have given all my kitties an engaging and happy life... I would like now to offer this to your kitty!

I am a calm person that is able to connect with animals easily, perhaps due to the fact that they can pick up on that "easy" energy quickly. I´ll be happy to play, feed, cuddle, clean, and anything in between, your cat! Get in touch and let´s get to know each other :)

I do also love plants, and have a garden of my own in my flat, so would happily water and take good care of them while you are away!
