Keeping kitties company, and they’ll keep me company too

Hi there, I’m Rachel. I’m 26, and I work in marketing and writing. I’ve had cats my entire life, until the past 2 years as my landlord doesn’t allow pets. When I worked remotely, I have been really quite lonely. I miss having a little fluffy presence to distract me from my laptop, and if there are babies (cats) who need company, and to bother someone on their laptop, then I can fill that gap. I live in Sheffield, and although my knees don’t agree with hills, it’s such a brilliant place to be, and after living here for 5 years, I don’t plan on going anywhere else. Outdoor walks aren’t for exercise, but for making new friends and being honoured with four paws and an upright tail, even a fluffy tummy on display if I’m lucky too. I like to crochet in my spare time, and I’m currently trying to grow strawberries in my little green house.

I can help however you need. Happy to feed (at your instruction, not your cats), clean litter boxes, provide brushing and more. Most importantly, I offer my lap, arms, and heart, to your cats however you both need it. As a hybrid worker, I can visit for meal times etc, but if you’re happy for me to use your wifi, if you have cats who require constant company I can stay all day to make sure that they have someone with them at all times. I have my own car, and I’m really quite flexible with time, so I’m sure we could work something out together. I also have an up to date DBS certificate, which I’m happy to show if it would make you more comfortable.
