About Me
Cat sitter in Rayleigh and Wickford 🐾
Hi, I’m Kelly 👋🏻 🐱
A 30 year old female who lives in Wickford. I work in the city and embrace a hybrid working pattern where I can mostly pick and choose which days (if at all) I’d like to go into the office.
I’ve been around cats my whole life; from our own personal cats, to our neighbours’ cats and any neighbourhood strays, I am that person who will be late somewhere because they’ve stopped to pet a random cat on the way!
I strongly believe that every cat has their own quirky personality and my goal for any cat would be to ensure their happiness in their own home. I love playing with cats whether it be a simple piece of string or something more sophisticated, as well as slipping them the odd treat on the sly (if allowed).
I often house sit for my Brother which involves cat sitting my Brothers energetic ginger Tom cat, Mosley, who keeps me on my toes! However, for a long time the head of our household and object of my affection was our female all black rescue cat, Mimi, who we sadly lost in 2023 🌈
I’ve recently embraced the mortgage life and moved into my first home. It’s doubtful that I will be able to have my own pet and therefore, the chance to earn some extra money as well as filling that gap in my life would be a great combination.
I also spend a lot of time in Rayleigh, where my family are based.
I’m happy to pop in on your cat and feed and water them, clean their bowls and litter trays, let them out (if suitable) and/or stay overnight - whichever is needed. I have a car and am a fairly confident driver. I’d be happy to cover my local area for daily visits (Rayleigh and Wickford) but for overnight/longer stays, I’d be happy to travel as far as Southend one way or Chelmsford the other.
Of course, I’m also more than happy to have a free meet and greet beforehand and spam you with photos and videos whilst you are away!
I’m used to cats of all temperaments, whether they be confident or shy, bossy or timid. I would happily play with, pet and brush any cat but am also sensitive and respectful to those who prefer affection on their own terms - if at all.
My own cat was very sensitive to loud noises and could be slow to trust people due to her past before us, so I am confident in dealing with cats of a similar nature. She was predominantly an indoor cat but had access to the garden. I have experience of both outdoor and indoor cats, however.
My social media is private due to my job, but if there are any questions, I’d be more than happy to answer the same and hopefully look forward to hearing from you and your feline friend/s 🐱
