About Me
Experienced Cat, small animal and house sitter in Hastings and surrounding area's
Hi!
My name is Forest, and I am 30, living in Hastings (East Sussex) with car access to surrounding area and very happy to travel up to 20 miles for longer jobs or overnight stays.
I have a wealth of experience looking after animals, having grown up with a house full of small animals, rabbits and birds and having cats ever since I left home as a teenager.
I currently have 2 beautiful cats (Floki, a big Maine coon, and Morag, a tiny sphynx) and am aware and confident of the needs of more speciality breed cats such as sphynxes.
I previously was a student and employee at Tiggywinkles wildlife animal hospital, with a diploma in animal husbandry and care and the experience of handling, feeding and assisting vetinary nurses in the treatment of the animal patients there, with my experience ranging from the smallest wild bird nest of newborns to badgers and large deer. From work experience to home, I have gained confidence and a calm trust with even the most challenging or nervous of animals.
I understand that each Cat has their own unique needs and personality and going away can be a stressful time for a cat parent. I aim to make your trip away as anxiety free as possible by giving the best attention and care to your cat and communicating with you daily with pictures and updates.
I have previously and recently been a house sitter and cleaner and carer for disabled individuals at home.
I will always be contactable by whatsapp for any concerns, queries or worry's you may have.
