About Me

Cat sitter respectful of cats' boundaries

Hi there,

I'm a trainee clinical psychologist and parent of two cats. They've been with me for over 4 years now and are the best thing that ever happened to me. You can see their insta profile below 😊. Even tho I grew up with cats, it was only since I got Felix and Yuki that I learnt more about a cat's behaviour and the importance of play (after watching lots of Jackson Galaxy videos on YouTube!).

I'm happy to cover feeding and playtime (treat giving as part of playtime if their diet allows it?) Not to mention providing cuddles and chin and ear rubs (only if they allow it and for as long as they're comfortable with it!). Will also help with litter cleaning and maintaining a clean environment while you're away.

One of my cats, Yuki, is a Maine coon, so I'm quite good at looking after long-haired cats if you're going away for a longer period and need me to brush them (lots of treats and forehead rubs seem to make the experience pleasant for the cat).

I've also looked after a friend's cat that required medication (on top of the occasional meds that I've had to give my own cats). I can confidently provide this service too.

    mariana was such a great cat sitter for pepper and was really good at giving me updates! i was on a plane for a few hours/in a different time zone so she contacted my sister with any issues. mariana's really friendly and i would definitely use her again! :)

She was reliable, sent a lot of updates, photos and videos and gave my cat Bailey lots of playtime and cuddles, but most importantly, Bailey really liked her too and despite having separation anxiety he was not stressed when I got back home.     Mariana was great! She sent me plenty of updates pictures and videos! She really went the extra mile in playing with him, keeping him happy and comfortable. Sent updates on his food to make sure he was eating well whilst I was gone as well, really put me at ease whilst I was away. Will definitely book again, thanks so much!

    Mariana was great with our kittens. They're usually a bit shy, but got used to her very quickly. The cats were their usual playful selves when we got back. Mariana took amazing care of them and there were absolutely no issues.
